Okay but can we take a second to appreciate how hot my boyfriend is?

Can we take a second to appreciate that your boyfriend should definitely NOT be holding that rabbit that way?

Oh my god, people on Tumblr will seriously find anything to bitch about these days. If anyone loves their rabbit, it’s me. I make him awesome meals everyday, eat breakfast with him on the table with me outside, he has an outdoor fenced in area just for him, a side porch just for him, and lives indoors when the weather isn’t right. He is being held with two hands safely and actually loves being upside down, that’s the best way he relaxes and closes his eyes since he was a baby. He’s just being held out for 1 second for the picture. So please take your negative attitude and shove it up your ass.

Put a picture like this up and its there for people to comment on. I never said you never loved your rabbit, I never said you didn’t take care of him, but since you’ve now mentioned something else you do to your rabbit that you shouldn’t do I’m going to call you out on that shit too.
Your rabbit does not LOVE being upside down. This is called trancing, he does not go to sleep, he’s fucking terrified. When do rabbits get put upside down or picked up in the wild? When they are caught by predators. They go into a frozen and unresponsive state hoping you’ll let them go. Research by Dr McBride of Southampton Uni shows rabbits are extremely stressed when put into this position and their stress hormones and heart rate increases. Its called Tonic mobility it puts them under so much stress it artificially soars their heart rate. Read about it and stop doing it to him, you may think it’s cute but it isn’t.
Admittedly, I should have been way more diplomatic in my first post, so I do apologise for acting like a cunt. However, instead of getting defensive and hacked off that someone said something negative, try to EDUCATE yourself. You love him that’s as clear as day, so do him the courtesy of stemming up on your bunny knowledge. Since I do feel shitty now I reread my original post, here’s an article for you http://hoppingtonpost.com/please-do-not-trance-your-rabbits/ I’m sure you can find others.
I would also like to mention that your rabbit is very cute.

Well your attitude was a bit better this time and I appreciate you trying to help him, but I honestly don’t think every rabbit is the same, just like not every dog or human is the same. Dogs don’t cuddle with humans or do some of the same things in the wild, but they learn to and some love it, some don’t. I’ve had rabbits before that didn’t like being held upside down, and rabbits that didn’t like being held period, based on how old they were when I got them and how they were treated previously, and I respected that and treated them how they wanted. My rabbit has been held upside down occasionally since he was little and he’s always seemed perfectly happy, he eats carrots like that sometimes, he doesn’t go into a weird state he just closes eyes a bit when I cradle him while rubbing his ears. Any rabbit that’s having studies done on him is probably terrified for many reasons, such as being a test bunny or having a bunch of things connected to his body. I doubt it would read the same for a loved pet that’s completely used to it. If I were you I’d be arguing with the people doing testing on rabbits, not the pet owner doing the best she can. Even if it does actually put him in some stress for a minute that I don’t realize, that’s definitely not the worst life to have considering he’s spoiled the rest of the time. But I know him well and I really don’t think so. I’ll take it into consideration from now on though.
(By the way I just shared some old videos of him upside down so you can see how miserable he is if you want)

These are my first ever sculptures, when they’re all done they will represent coming out of your shell, becoming your own person. The first is depressed and will be painted like a roman statue, on top of a cracked old pedestal, the middle will be painted as if she’s cracking out of the sculpture shell and on a pedestal that’s growing ivy, and the third is finally happy because she’s who she wants to be, and will be on a beautiful shiny pedestal with flowers blooming up it.
New necklace!
I kind of hate Sunday’s now. I think I’m just gonna call it asshole day.
